Jack Spring is a traditionalist Catholic and former attorney and business owner raised in Dayton, Ohio as the oldest of six children in a closely-knit Irish-American Catholic family.

Jack worked on Capitol Hill for the late Senator John Heinz (R-PA) where he developed his love of politics and knowledge of Washington, D.C.

Later, he graduated from George Mason University Law School in nearby Arlington, Virginia and practiced law for 15 years in the Northern Virginia area.  After many years away from the legal field, he now considers himself a "fully recovered" attorney.  Jack has two daughters who are pursuing careers in teaching.

Jack’s passions include travel, boating, literature, American politics, Irish history and culture, and Catholic history and theology. He is a resident of Naples, Florida, spends some  of the year in the Washington, D.C. area, as well as Ireland ... especially in his heart and mind.

Jack's first novel was published on December 21, 2011 --- "The Rapture of Darkness," available on Amazon.com and other online and brick-and-mortar retailers.

It is the first book in a Trilogy Series, which will also include a Companion Guide and prequel.
